"Plus & Less" brings together two practices opposite in material but akin in emotional tension. Ade Quercianera's sculpture, made of paper and acrylic, rises as a fragile, torn fragment, suspended between blue and gold: a form that seems born from a rupture, echoing his exploration of the boundary between shadow and understanding. Gilda Mautone's installation, meanwhile, transforms the space into a vivid pink setting, at once domestic ritual and childlike playroom, where mirrors, fringes and fabrics compose a small altar of the self. The "plus" and "less" of the title thus take shape as two economies of gesture: the essential subtraction of torn paper against the festive accumulation of textile. Yet both works share the same urgency: to give visible form to what usually remains hidden
