"Super Eye" presents large-scale photographic prints by Jon Baker from the series "Mother's Medal (Kink)", made on 5x4 film through cross-processing techniques that heighten saturated, unnatural colours. Organic forms resembling insects or jewels merge with glass and plastic elements — chains, orbs, translucent fragments — in dense, almost baroque compositions dominated by deep blues and purples. The viewer's eye is captured and disoriented by this hyper-vision: an excess of detail that seduces even as it repels. Baker's work, born from a reflection on power and ideology behind the Nazi "mother's medals," transforms a historical object into an ambiguous imagery, suspended between aesthetic allure and moral unease.
