"Untitled#4" brings into dialogue three approaches to the face and human figure, moving between abstraction and figuration. Ade Quercianera's small works on paper contain a cloaked silhouette in black and white, suspended and almost liquid, reduced to its essentials against a neutral ground. Gilda Mautone responds with the chromatic intensity of red: a papier-mâché head with wide, staring eyes converses with paintings that fragment the face into details — an eye, a mouth open in a toothy smile — set alongside tropical leaves, in a carnal, almost tribal imagery. Johannes Leidenberger closes the sequence with two polished steel sculptures, including "Zentrale" (2022): wing-like forms that seem to snap through space, pure geometry set against the carnality of the other works. Between face and pure form, the exhibition explores different degrees of bodily presence
