"Is It Possible?" is a monumental installation in wool, cotton, and mixed fabrics, occupying the space with the force of a totemic creature. A vertical figure, entirely crocheted, stands on a pedestal, trailing behind it an extremely long feathered tail spread across the floor like the train of a ceremonial gown. Beside it, a large tapestry woven with concentric rosettes gathers a myriad of floral and organic motifs, each different from the last, in an almost encyclopaedic accumulation of techniques and colours. The title, posed as a question, seems to interrogate the very possibility of this abundance: how much manual labour, how much collective patience can still find space in the contemporary world? Made for the Italian Embassy in Copenhagen, the work becomes a joyful yet disarming manifesto of craft as a political language
