"SHADOWS" explores the dimension of the shadow not as the mere absence of light, but as dense matter, a visceral threshold, and a visual archetype. Through a series of 40x30 cm acrylics on canvas, Ade Quercianera builds a deep chromatic field — dominated by burnt earth tones, crimson reds, nocturnal blues, and monochromatic washes —, from which totemic silhouettes, circular forms, and anthropomorphic figures emerge. In the works eso, in a quiet moment, it's not a promise, it's not a ring, and the dance, the pictorial gesture is scratched and layered: images seem to surface from an archaic substrate or an internal ritual, suspended between presence and dissolution. The shadow thus becomes a plastic device, an autonomous form mapping the contours of a silent, primordial memory
