This exhibition brings into dialogue two opposite yet deeply connected ways of making art: visual storytelling and silence.
In Gilda Mautone’s works, painting is rich and full of detail. Her canvases come alive with magnetic gazes, exotic symbols, and natural shapes, creating a colorful world overflowing with stories. On the other hand, Ade Quercianera strips away every figure to focus on pure, emotional abstraction. His canvases, dominated by warm red and earthy tones, play with blurring and gradients where light seems to emerge from the dark.
While Gilda fills the space with her narratives, Ade captures their innermost echo. Together, their works create a perfect balance between the urge to express and the beauty of the essential.
