MICA VOJTECH
"Vertical" brings together works by Vojtěch Míča united by the search for an ascending axis, between elevation and instability. Two totemic columns, hollowed and fractured like erect bodies, stand on a rough wooden pallet. A small bronze figure rises on a marble pedestal grafted onto a dense, organic sculptural base. A contorted animal seems to climb a wooden trunk, in precarious balance between instinct and gravity. In each piece, the pedestal is not mere support but an integral part of the narrative: what sustains becomes as central as what is sustained. The exhibition reflects on verticality as a gesture of resistance, poised between ascent and fall
