"The Great Nowhere" gathers black-and-white images by JM Ramírez-Suassi, poised between portraiture and social landscape. A bullet casing, a man with a snake around his neck, a cabinet burning in an open field: fragments that suspend narrative between reality and fiction. Each image emerges from repeated returns to the same places, capturing time's almost imperceptible shifts. Violence, fragility and mystery coexist within a mythological, nameless geography. A "great nowhere" that is both refuge and threat, mirroring human experience at the margins
